Archie Comics is gearing up for Montréal Comiccon with a convention exclusive cover created specifically for the event, previewed here by Comic Vine. It is one of three Montréal Comiccon 2013 exclusive comics and VIP and Deluxe ticket holders will receive one of those three editions. Copies will also be sold at the Comiccon store.

 

This limited edition cover is featured on Archie #647 which contains the “Welcome To Mirrordale” story and is illustrated by fan-favorite artist Dan Parent, who is a guest this year. Fans who want to get the issuesigned by the cover’s artist can find Dan Parent at Stand A1407.

 

Montréal Comiccon takes place between 9/13-9/15 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal....

Archie Comics was thrilled to be a part of this year's Baltimore Comic Con. The World of Archie panel that took place on Saturday afternoon was a success and many interesting topics were discussed. Bleeding Cool did a nice round-up of some of what was mentioned, including Harvey nominated writer/artist Dan Parent discussing the upcoming Kevin vs. Veronica issue of Kevin Keller, and the upcoming landmark Archie #650 issue which features the much talked-about "Bollywood Love" cover. Writer Paul Kupperberg discussed the conflicts to take place in upcoming Life with Archie issues, and Harvey nominated artist Ryan Jampole discussed his history with Mega Man as well as his artistic...
