THE ART OF BETTY AND VERONICA SIGNING AT BARNES AND NOBLEDec18

Last Friday, fans got a chance to get their copy of The Art of Betty and Veronica signed by the gentlemen who put the book together. Archie's Editor-in-Chief/Co-President Victor Gorelick was joined by comic book historian Craig Yoe as well as fan favorite Archie artists Dan Parent and Fernando Ruiz whose art are featured in the book and provided sketches for the crowd.
The signing began with a panel discussion moderated by Archie Comics Director of Publicity and Marketing Steven Scott, with the guests discussing how the book came to be and what their favorite decade for Archie art was. The audience then participated in a Q&A where they got to pick the brains of the collective panelists.
Fans walked away with a copy of the book signed and sketched in by the Archie crew to add to their personal collection or to present as a gift for the holidays. Fitting, considering The Art of Betty and Veronica just landed on USA Today's Annual Holiday Gift Guide 2012!
Couldn't make the signing? There's still two more chances to get your copy signed in the next few weeks. Midtown Comics will host Victor Gorelick and Craig Yoe as part of their monthly book club on Friday 12/28 and The Strand Bookstore will also hold a signing on Thursday 1/10.
