You might think that after working at Archie Comics for over 50 years one might become bored or tired reading and looking at the thousands of comics that have come across my desk.  The fact is, I’m not bored or tired.  Archie has been entertaining readers for 70 years.   I am proud to say I have worked with some of the most talented writers and artists, both past and present that have contributed to Archie’s success. Their work inspires me to see that Archie Comics continues to produce, good, clean, wholesome  entertainment.

Recently, I had the pleasure of working  with comics’ historian, writer, publisher, Craig Yoe, to produce for Archie Comics its very first hard cover book, “THE ART OF BETTY & VERONICA.”   I’m happy to say this book has received rave reviews from the media as well as everyone who has purchased a copy.  You can find it in bookstores, on the web and the Archie Comics website. Based on success and popularity of this book, Craig and I are working on our next book, “THE ART OF ARCHIE:  THE COVERS,” and we would like your help.  One of the most important parts of a book is its cover.  Obviously, the biggest job putting “The Covers” book together is going through 70 years of comics and selecting which covers will be presented in this book. I have some favorites in mind and I’m sure that Craig does, too.

That’s where you come in.  We’d like to know if you would like to see any of your favorite covers in this book.  They could be Archie covers, Betty & Veronica, Jughead, Archie’ Pals “n” Gals, Archie Annual, Laugh, Pep, any of our Archie Digest titles.  The list can go on and on.  Here are a few of my favorite covers:
