You know what we’re wearing tonight? Black Tuxedos! All of us! With tails and white shirts. I’m telling you, Jug and I have never looked so good!
You know the best part? It’s winter, right? So, Ronnie got us all Under Armour (thin cold weather gear) to wear under our tuxedoes so we don’t freeze while we’re playing! Ronnie, you’re the best. J

Juggy and I had a busy day and we are BUSHED (pardon the pun). HeHeHe! Oh, back to what we did - the local hatchery (the place that raises fish) was looking for volunteers to ride around town and collect after-Christmas trees. The real ones – not the fake - those you can store in the attic.
I thought this sounded like fun, so I volunteered me and Jug. I mean, all we've been doing since Christmas is practicing for the New Year's Eve gig. I thought getting outside and doing our community a service would be a good thing.
So, we rode around town and picked up trees that were sitting by the curb. Then we hauled them all back to the hatchery. Then THEY will put them in boats, drive them out to the middle of the lake and then sink them for fish habitat. Pretty cool.
I hope someone got a picture of my car. At one time, we had seven trees tied to it. It looked like a moving forest.
We did have a great time; all our gas was paid for plus we both got a $10 gift certificate to Pop's, which always comes in handy.
Well time to leave... band practice!

Woo Hoo!
Jug and I ran into Ronnie at the mall (where else would you find Ronnie after Christmas?!?) Guess what? She’s booked us to play Riverdale’s First Night Celebration! We’re the featured attraction, too!
This is gonna be a blast, but she’s right. We do have a TON of work to do. Jug and I are taking care of rounding up the crew today. Reggie and Betty are choosing material. And Ronnie? What do you think Ronnie is doing? She’s shopping for something for us to wear! LOL

This might have been my best Christmas ever! I got some really great gifts. Juggy’s Cookies were simply the best ever. I even got a very cool pair of red and green striped socks from Reg which was a total surprise, since he already gave me a CD at my Movie Party.

Sunday night was Wonderful… with It’s a Wonderful Life.
Everyone had a great time… I was in heaven with Betty snuggled up to me on one side and Ronnie on the other.
They laughed, they cried and sang… Plus we all had a lot of Christmas goodies.
Jughead’s popcorn was THE BEST.
The whole thing was so much fun we ran the movie twice… and it’s a long movie.
Reggie told me if he knew I was going to run the movie twice he would have brought two dates… That Guy!

So here are the details of my Gift to the Gang:
This Sunday night I’m renting the Riverdale Movie Theater for a private showing of "It’s a Wonderful Life". (I also had to find and rent the movie in large screen format.)
Jughead will pop a ton of Gourmet Popcorn, and there will be free soda and special Christmas candy for all.
I’ll be hosting and sitting front row center with Betty on one side and Ronnie on the other… everyone else can sit where the like.

Yeah, it’s my birthday. Thanks for all the good wishes! This must be one of the reasons blogging is so popular – everyone stops by to say “HI” on your birthday!
I got my first present early this morning – before the sun was even up! Betty drove over here before school to give it to me. You know what it was? A Hawaiian shirt with coconut shell buttons! COOL!! She got it for me when she and Ronnie went to Hawaii last summer and she’s had it this whole time.
I have it on good authority that someone else has a birthday today, too. I’ll bet you thought I forgot. Not a chance!
