My photographer friend sent me these pictures. They’re posted over at the Archie Comics Website, but he wanted to make sure Betty and I had them, too.
This is a picture of my boss.
Here he is this past weekend at the NYC Comic Con. Betty and I ADORE him! He has been our biggest fan since… FOREVER!!!
No matter how busy he is, he always makes time to talk to us about whatever’s on our mind. I would say, without question, that he is one of the GOOD guys… I’m sure he is… I mean, I don’t think HE’S the one keeping this stupid Makeover thing alive!
He would never do that… at least, I don’t think he would.
Okay, I’ll worry about that later.
I’m not so sure about these people. I know them socially, but we’re not that close. I don’t THINK anyone here has a reason to want to change Betty and me… but still… you never know.
We’ll keep digging until we get to the bottom of this!

Here's a copy of my comment that I sended to the management.
Thank you that it will be only 4 issues..Here's something I like to say.If you put the makeover forever,you might have to change the story,characters,place,and the scoops.If you look closely,Betty is more beautiful than Veronica.It's like Betty is the rich one while Veronica is the poor one.You'll have to change their names too.Betty and Veronica have to give up their personalities,family,friends and their old hobbies.You also have to change the looks of your favourite Archie,Jughead,and many more.
You'll have to end your hard working day thinking what to dress them,scoops for the next issue and much more.My family likes to read your comics.My aunt who's in university nearly fainted because of the makeover.When I was little,when I didn't know how to read well,your comics are the one that helped me read well,got 1st , 2nd ,3rd place in my class.
I showed your comics to my teachers,friends,family and also strangers.I like the looks of Betty and Veronica just the way they are.That's is all I can say.

Confused is my middle name. I mean really! Who do these people THINK they are?! I mean, how can you suddenly change someone's look without their permission?! Your looks have sort of become a mascot, and fiddling around with it- especially when the general public says STOP- will not GET sales anywhere but DOWN!!! Doesn't management realize this?! But I'm getting the issue anyways, since I got a subscription to your comics, again. I'll figure out how this whole thing works. :(

I dont think that you should change anything. Like the saying dont fix what isnt broken. Your comic has been around so long so what you had been doing obviously works. Im 18 and i have been reading your comics since i could read. In fact i learned how to read on your magazines. Im still an avid reader so please dont make me have to stop being loyal.
well DUH. your boss looks to nice to have done the makeover thing to you. They need to ask people if they like it or not BEFORE it goes out in public!
hey i think you guys should give their new look a chance before you pass judgement on it i mean the guys at archie comics want to try something different and when did you hear that the betty and veronica double digest was going to be just four issues it'll start with issue #151 but that deosn't mean that'll end after #151 so you might want to check up on that before you say anything like that and if you don't like their new look then write archie comics and tell them after the double digest comes out may 14th this year but just give it a chance you might like it!
Yeah! I attended and went up to the table a few times. I stocked up on some free comics, a poster, and even got a very cool personal drawing of you Ronnie. Hope to see the Archie table there next year! I'll make sure to wear my "I'm a Veronica" hoodie! Love ya lots!
Hmmm.... I wonder who's idea was the makeover... I think you guys look better in the original version. It's better to make small changes slowly. If you look in old, and I mean REALLY old issues, then the more recent ones, you notice change in the characters.
