I just want a current bio on Katy Keene. Do they have parents, why her sister is named Mackenzie (it used to be Melissa)? How old they are, etc.
A- We will be telling that story eventually. She is a girl from a small town in the Midwest, trying to take care of her sister. I don’t know about her sister being called Melissa; back in the 50’s she was just called “Sis”. Katy is 21, and Mackenzie is 15 or 16 years old. We are planning the story about her parents in an up coming issue.

My question is: will Katy Keene become an Archie Comics regular title again? I hope so. Archie Comics hasn't done a new title in a long time (other than renaming two of the digests). The return of Cheryl Blossom has been a disappointment to me as she is rarely seen. So please bring Katy back and maybe have Cheryl visit her! Thank you.
A- At this point she is appearing in Archie & Friends, we have the stories planned through issue 110. As far as her own series, we are going to have to wait and see, that is up to the readers. As far as the Archie characters appearing in her comics, if that’s what you want to see, write in.

A- Katie is not going to be snobby and rich. She is going to have some money because she is a movie star. But she is the nicest girl in Hollywood. She is still the same person. As far as she is being drawn, there is certainly an Archie influence but she will not be looking like Betty & Veronica. I am a huge fan of Archie comics so it’s certainly an influence.
