my name is lauren c. iam 12 years old and i do not like when people throw their litter on the roads. to help the earth i never throw my litter on the road or on the ground cause i know that it is not good for the grass or the ground etc. i also always tell people to never throw their garbage on the ground or on the road etc because a lot more people will start doing it! i hope you had sometime to read my little speach. thank you.

My family recycles newspaper and cans. I crush the cans every Monday in our special CanCrusher and we take the recycle bin to the curb...oh every decade. Just kidding, it is not actually that long, but we wait a really long time, until there are newspapers stacking to the ceiling!

I am helping my community by putting the paper in the paper bin,the cardboard in the cardboard bin.I take can,bottles etc. to the bottle spot in my village.I save plastic and use it more than once.
I recycle everyday. At school they have a recycling club -- i'm in it of course! The club is every monday and friday sometimes we have emergency meetings on wednesday if some of the people do not recycle their bottles and cans. We know this because on mondays each of us tell if the people in our neighborhood recycle. Then we decide to have an emergency meeting. Sometimes we go around the block and clean up the trash and put it in the recycling bin. Sometimes it is fun. That is how we help out our neighborhood. We hope that you will start recycling too. Someday you will look back and say that I have done something good for my neighborhood

Guess what I'm doing to help our environment? You see I'm y'alls 1# fan and whenever I'm drawing one of the Archie characters and I mess up (more like drawing ron with archie for instance!) I make sure I put it in the recycling bin so it can be recycled. Whadda you think dude?

Hey Mr. Weatherbee,
I have been reading archie comics for a long time now and my dad read them when he was younger. I have been helping out by picking up trash around my community and parks. When I went on vacation i joined the junior ranger program to help out parks around the country. This makes me feel good about myself knowing I have made difference.

Hi my name is Garrett. Me and my four other friends Alex,Willy, Rennan and Mohammed r form Mrs.Deans class. We are in the portables. Since we r out side we have a garden. Everday we make it look nice and clean up trash recycle everything.
I am recycling and it is quite fun because you can use that trash again that is recyclable. By the way my name is Kirsten and I love Archie Comics they are so fun to read and they are also funny.
I live in florida and I clean up on the beaches. The beach people offer me
money but I dont take it. I say we all live in this world we should keep it
clean.
I go to the School of Environmental Studies in Apple Valley, Minnesota. We are connected to the Minnesota Zoo and we are always aware of nature. We do pond profiles where we study local ponds and examine their status for the city to see if they need to invest time in money to help that particular pond. We also do bird counts to see how each kind is surviving. We go on field studies, and in mid-Febuary I am going to Curacao, which is above Venezuela where we will be observing fish and picking up trash off the beach and having fun! I'll definitely bring multiple Archie Comics to read while laying in the hammock. Have a great wonderful spectacular day! Kel~Sea (like Kelsey, but Kel~Ocean....)
I recycle all my paper and anything else I can. Recycling is fun because I know that if I recycle that my kids (next generation) will be better off!!! If I don't recycle my kids might die because of all the garbage!! That makes me think!! If people don't recycle..... will I even grow up to have kids?!?!?!?!?!?!

My name is Samantha, though everyone calls me Sam. I help save the enviorment by recycling used tin cans, used paper, newspaper, glass bottles, plastic bottles and putting rubbish where they belong --the dustbin. I also visit the old folks home every two monthes to help out and once every year, my family take out clothes we cannot wear anymore into plastic bags. The next day, we will visit the orphanage and the old folks homes to donate our old clothes. I am very familliar with the people fom the old folks home and the orphanage because my family and I always stay for about half a day there to chat and do some community service.
In school, I always pick up any trash I see and then throw them in the nearest dustbin. My family and I enjoy doing community service, donating food, money or clothes to the poorly and recycling. It just makes us feel great after doing it because we know that we have something good to help. I will continue doing this and try my best to form a recycling club in my school. ( my school doesn't have a recycling club) I hope everyone will do the same and try their best to clean and make the world a better place.
At my school, we have a recycling bin for water bottles. We also give food to the poor. -Ana

My name is Ariel. Some of my friends and I have made a recycling club. We are planning a sale to benefit the endangered green sea turtle. My school is also collecting can tabs for McDonalds. The can tab collecting is a contest among the four intermediate homerooms. This encourages people to save as many can tabs as possible.
