VERSACE DOES ARCHIE

New York, NY (Sept 2, 2010): Archie Comics--home of worldwide teenage fashionistas Betty and Veronica--has been honored in the art of Donatella Versace as Archie Comics' newest addition, Kevin Keller, dons his own personal Versace style.

Yesterday in an article for The Daily Beast's Entertainment & Fashion segment, Sexy Beast, Archie Comics' first gay character received the privilege of walking the runway in a personalized fashion designed by Versace herself to celebrate his official debut Wednesday, Sept 1st in VERONICA #202.

"It's a thrill to watch Kevin Keller rock into the world of Archie and his friends in true Versace style" remarked Jon Goldwater, Co-CEO of Archie Comics.

An homage to one of Kevin's original character designs released back in April the Donatella Versace drawing features Kevin Keller in his best western. The design features Kevin in snug fit cropped black skinny jeans, black western boots with silver rodeo-style accents, matching side sling belt and custom modern frontier jacket. The spectacular white fitted high-collar modern motorcycle jacket is accented extensively across the chest with black fringe. As labeled by The Daily Beast, Kevin's look is designed to tackle the "Final Frontier."

ARCHIE COMICS EXPANDS TO SERVE RISING WORLDWIDE FANBASE

New York, NY (August 30, 2010): Archie Comics--home to the Archie Wedding phenomenon, LIFE WITH ARCHIE magazine and lifelong fans--is expanding The Archie Comic Shop online at ArchieComics.com to include international shipping options for almost every Archie product!

Letter after letter and e-mail after e-mail has been flooding into the Archie offices asking to bring Archie Comics to destinations across the globe and now those demands are being answered. The Archie Comic Shop online at ArchieComics.com, which previously only offered graphic novels to international customers, is now expanding to offer international subscriptions as an "Overseas" option, with affordable shipping at a single flat rate.

Jon Goldwater, Archie Comics Co-CEO, said the decision was made "to get Archie Comics to where they belong: in the hands every single Archie fan. It's about time for fans everywhere to have access to the Archie comics they love."

After expanding to include the more widely distributed mega-hit magazine LIFE WITH ARCHIE, the expansion to international subscriptions was the next logical step in supplying Archie comic books to areas where demands were not being met.

In addition to previous availability in the US and Canada, to have any Archie Comics publication from ARCHIE & FRIENDS to JUGHEAD'S DOUBLE DIGEST or LIFE WITH ARCHIE magazine delivered straight to anywhere--from the Philippines, to Australia, to the United Arab Emirates, China, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Russia or Kenya--fans can now click on any shop link online at ArchieComics.com to order from the newly expanded Archie Comic Shop.
